It is now nearly completed and only needs a few finishing touches before it’s ready to make the trip to California. It has been an interesting and challenging project, and I’m getting a chance to try some new techniques as the bird has some rather unusual features that I haven’t before tried to represent. I’m happy with how things are progressing, and the piece should really be taking shape over the next few weeks.
